The country's most preferred airline brand is hiring for the position of “Executive- Operations Engineering" under the department of Flight Operations.

 
As an Ops Engineer you will analyze, develop, maintain and coordinate the company processes supporting the functions of Aircraft Performance and Weight & Balance for Astra Airways Ltd. Potential candidates should process a comprehensive, in-depth knowledge and have experience of complex aviation engineering related matters and an ability to adapt to Air Astra processes and requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Determining and maintaining guidance, data and procedures in the Operations Manual.
• Support fuel efficiency programs through the provision of high-quality analysis and reporting of operational data and processes.
• Performing engineering analysis on Takeoff/Landing performance, Weight & Balance and Fuel Efficiency Matters when needed.
• Develop and maintain weight & balance information and aircraft loading systems processes.
• Provision of EFB related documentation and flight crew training.
• Development of EFB operational integration and authority approvals. 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Improved analyzing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take decisions and organizing own work.  
• Proficiency in use of Flight Operations Systems IT tool and experience in data analysis.
• Experience with aircraft loading, weight and balance and associated requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and simple way.  
• Able to handle a high workload in a tight timeframe and prioritize tasks effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering Graduate in Aeronautical/Mechanical from any reputed University.
• Basic software developing skill is a plus.
• Previous experience in an airline operational environment will be preferred.

JOB LOCATION: Dhaka

SALARY: Negotiable.
