The country's most preferred airline brand is hiring for the position of “Senior Executive/ Executive, Ground Operations" under the department of Ground Operations.
As a Senior/Executive, you will supervise ground staff, assist to ensure efficient operations, managing customer services, and handling logistics. Potential candidates should have a relevant degree, excellent communication skills, prior experience in ground operations, and an interest in the aviation industry.
QUALIFICATION(S):
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
To seek guideline from the shift-in-Charge before commencing work.
To prepare and manage the duty roster, ensuring staff attendance and shift handovers.
To attend mails and instructions in accordance with the operational requirement.
Service Executives in smooth running of shift activities.
To oversee timely closure of flights, ensuring on-time departures and compliance with flight movement instructions.
To personally handle VIP/CIP/Special Case passengers, ensuring proper assistance and service, and prioritize transit passengers to prevent mishandling.
To display flight information, verify tickets and boarding, and prepare final manifests and load trim sheets (manual/electronic). Ensure all relevant documents are prepared and forwarded to appropriate units.
To ensure safety and security of ground handling operations, report any hazards, incidents, or irregularities, and ensure proper handling of baggage and cargo.
To brief staff at the start of each shift, ensuring all tasks are completed and logged, and maintain communication with various airport agencies and departments.
To oversee proper baggage handling, including tagging, weighing, loading/offloading, and reconciling with final figures. Ensure mishandled baggage is promptly reported, tracked, and delivered.
To ensure proper grooming of both male and female staff.
To safeguard ground operations equipment, ensuring safe storage and handling during inclement weather. Maintain proper stock levels of stationeries and report requisitions to headquarters.
To handle discrepancies and incidents effectively, ensuring proper documentation, including PIR (Passenger Irregularity Report) for missing baggage or passengers.
To coordinate with flight operations, marketing, and other units for delayed flights or special circumstances. Send flight departure information to relevant destinations and en-route stations.
To check the Aircraft and Configuration.
To ensure proper maintenance of flight documents, handle firearms and other sensitive materials as per procedure, and support smooth running of shift activities by performing any other duties assigned.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
For Senior Executive, minimum 3 years and for Executive, 0-3 years of working experience in the ground operations department.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Age 22 to 35 years
Height-170 CM (5'7") Minimum
Weight: Should be proportionate to Height (BMI: 18.5-25.0).
No affidavit will be accepted.
Eyesight: 6/6, No color blind. Spectacles not accepted (Lasik may be considered for highly deserving candidate).
Language Skill: Fluent in English & Bengali (both written & spoken)
Medical Fitness: Good physical health and medically fit to meet Customer Service requirements
Physical Appearance: Strong, upright; no visible tattoos or marks on the visible part of the body
Attitude & Bearing: Must be very good looking, clean shaved (for male), alluring personality, impressive, decent, and positive gestures.
SALARY: Negotiable.
