The country's most preferred airline brand is hiring for the position of “Cabin Crew" under the department of Cabin Service.

All you need to do is to meet the following requirements:
 

EDUCATION:

• SSC with GPA 3.00 out of 5.00.
• HSC or equivalent with GPA 3.00 out of 5.00 
• For ‘O’ Level- Min 05 subjects with grade ‘C’ average 
• For ‘A’ Level- Min 02 subjects with Grade ‘C’ average
• For Diploma Degree Min CGPA 2.80 out of 4.00 is required
• GED is not acceptable

HEIGHT:

• 168 cm (5 feet 6 inches) minimum for male
• 161 cm (5 feet 3 inches) minimum for female
• Arm reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes

WEIGHT:

• Should be proportionate to Height
• BMI Range must be within

         Male: 18-25 

         Female: 18-22

AGE:

• Fresher: 18 to 27 years (as on the day of the application deadline)
• Experienced Crew: Up to 35 years (as on the day of the application deadline)
• No affidavit will be accepted

EYESIGHT:

• 6/6 corrected with clear contact lenses only 
• Candidates with color blindness will not be considered

SWIMMING: Candidates must know swimming before On Job Training (OJT). 

LANGUAGE SKILL: Fluent in both Bengali & English (written & spoken).  

MEDICAL FITNESS: Good physical health and medically fit to meet Cabin Crew requirements.  

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Strong, upright, no visible tattoos or marks on the body. 

ATTITUDE & BEARING: Should be positive and impressive, appealing personality. 

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT: Must reside adjacent to/around Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) like Nikunja, Uttara Model Town from Sector-01 to Sector-18 after joining 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

• Attending pre-flight briefings
• Welcoming passengers on board and directing them to their seats
• Ensuring that all emergency equipment is in working order prior to take off.
• Explaining and demonstrating safety and emergency procedures to passengers
• Ensuring that all hand luggage is securely stored away
• Checking all passenger seat belts and galleys are secured prior to take off and landing
• Provide meal services, cleaning and collecting the meal trays from passengers
• Distributing landing cards and other documentation where necessary
• Ensure cabin and lavatories are kept clean and tidy at all time
• Administering first aid
• Dealing with emergencies
• Safeguard the interest of Air Astra
